On Saturday - April 28, 2001, Bianca, Tran, Joanna, Tao, Robert, Tommy, Jack, Christopher and Scott went to the 'Pursuit of Pop' Forum at NYU. It was a very good experience for the members of AU, who met other Asian groups and learned more about their own ethnicity/role in the United States. Workshops such as Asian Fashion, Asian Food, the Social Scene, and Identity Dialogues helped engage the teens. We wish to thank the APA for hosting this event. After the workshop, Bianca, Tran, Joanna, Robert, Tommy and Jack went to a Tai Restaurant in Chinatown. We had lots of fun, especially in drinking a horrible tasting soup.
